Beautiful travel journal! Actually, I haven't really travelled much in my life..a few trips to AZ, one to Montana, one to New Mexico, a few times across the border to Mexico, a couple times in TX, and one trip out to Vermont with trips from there to NH, Maine, and Mass. A few times up to Canadian bordertowns. The rest of the time was spent right here in MN, WI, and MI.

My favorite trip was actually a car trip that my brother and I took from our home city (Duluth) up to Thunder Bay in Canada. It was one of those trips that you always drive past all these cool cities on the way to somewhere else and always say you would one day like to stop there. Well, we took the time to actually stop at all those places. It was a blast! My brother had been living out on the west coast for about 10 years and it gave us a wonderful time to catch up, which was a total bonus!

Oh, your journal is gorgeous... and what a wonderful trip that must have been! One of favorite vacations is not as 'worldly' but I always have a great time at my favorite beach on the Oregon coast... Cannon Beach. Sometimes we camp and sometimes we stay at one of the charming, old motels that, sadly, are being replaced with shiny, new accomodations. The main street is delightful with weathered-wood shops and lots of flowers blooming in planters and little courtyards. The scents of fresh herbs on handmade pizza and batches of saltwater taffy being made mingling with the fresh ocean air is wonderful :) I need to plan another trip!

Hi Barb,
Your journal turned out wonderfully. I've got lots of travel photos from places I've visited over the years, but have never "made an album" out of them. Thanks for the "inspiration".
Hugs, Mary a.k.a. LibMary

I love your travel journey - would be perfect for my upcoming trip to Italy. Italy is definately one of my favorite countries to visit. This time with trekking, good food and wine tasting and a visit to the gorgeous Cinque Terre. I have never seen a more beautiful place - we were there a few years ago, and I so looking forward to come back.

what a gorgeous piece. Italy is a beautiful country with wonderfully friendly people. I have been to Tuscany region and would love to go back and explore more of the south where my husband's family is from. My absolute dream is to go to France near the Normandy region (and Paris) to visit my ancestors homestead. Great blog!
